About Taradale
Taradale township is located in Heart of Wine Country and is one of the most frequented locations in Hawke's Bay. The Hawke's Bay region attracts over 1 million tourists a year with visitors spending an estimated $400 million, mostly on accommodation and food. Tourism is a rapidly growing income opportunity with private visitor nights in Hawke's Bay recording the largest increase in New Zealand of 24.2%. Taradale’s proximity to Napier, the Port and the Airport provides significant opportunities to take advantage of the booming tourist market and secure a higher percentage of the tourist dollar in the Taradale township. Taradale is a prosperous, established community nestled against the hills in an area rich in wine heritage dating back as far as the 1850’s.
